Our 1 DAY | Classic Eyelash Extension course is designed for beginner students who want to build a strong foundation in the art of one-on-one lash application. Students will gain the essential knowledge, hands-on practice, and confidence needed to begin their journey as a lash artist.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

1. Theory and Fundamentals

• Anatomy and Physiology: Learn the structure of the eye, hair, skin, and the natural lash growth cycle.

• Health and Safety: Understand proper sanitation, disinfection, sterilization, and studio protocols to ensure a safe, hygienic workspace.

• Contraindications & Reactions: Identifying conditions, diseases, or allergies that may prevent or postpone a lash service, and distinguishing between irritation and allergic reactions.

• Product Knowledge: In-depth study of different lash extension types (curl, length, diameter, taper), adhesive science (ingredients, storage, curing), and various tools (tweezers, cleaners, primers, removers).

2. Application Techniques on Mannequin Head

• Client Consultation: Conduct thorough assessments, review client history, and managing client expectations.

• Lash Preparation: Proper cleaning, taping, and eye-pad application.

• Isolation: Mastering the fundamental technique of isolating a single natural lash to prevent "stickies."

• Precision Placement & Bonding: Correctly picking up, dipping, and attaching the extension with the right distance, angle, and direction for comfortable and long-lasting wear.

• Lash Styling and Mapping: Designing customized looks (e.g., Cat Eye, Doll Eye) based on the client's eye shape, size, and facial structure.

3. Maintenance and Aftercare

• Refill Procedure: Techniques for assessing and safely replacing grown-out extensions.

• Safe Removal: Proper use of removers to dissolve adhesive without damaging the natural lashes.

• Aftercare Instruction: Educating clients on cleaning and caring for their extensions to maximize retention.

4. Business and Professional Development 

• Pricing strategies and retail product knowledge.

• Client record keeping and consent forms.

• Basic marketing and self-promotion tips.
