WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

1. Theory and Fundamentals

• Volume Lash Theory: Understanding the difference between Classic, Hybrid, Volume, and Mega Volume sets.

• Creating Handmade Volume Fans: Learning various techniques (e.g., pinching, sticky strip, fanning off the strip, flower bouquet) to safely and consistently build symmetrical volume fans with skinny base.

• Lash Weight Calculation: Determining the correct diameter and number of extensions per fan to ensure the client's natural lash health is maintained.

• Advanced Isolation and Placement: Perfecting isolation for clean application and utilizing techniques like "wrapping" the natural lash for long lasting retention.

• Adhesive and Environment Mastery: In-depth knowledge of volume adhesives, optimal temperature, and humidity control for best retention.

• Volume Fills and Safe Removal: Techniques for maintaining volume sets and safely removing volume fans without damaging the natural lashes.

• Lash Mapping: Creating customized designs and styles (e.g., Cat Eye, Doll Eye, Squirrel Eye, Wispy) using different lengths, curls, and diameters.

• Lash Layering: Utilizing layering techniques to create dimension, cover gaps, and achieve a flawless result..

• Eye Shape Correction: Designing lash sets to complement and enhance different eye and face shapes.

• Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultation and asses client’s natural lashes and find the best plan to achieve clients expectations while protect the intergiry of natural lashes.

2. Application Techniques on Mannequin Head

• Lash Preparation: Proper cleaning, taping, and eye-pad application.

• Isolation: Mastering the fundamental technique of isolating a single natural lash to prevent "stickies."

• Precision Placement & Bonding: Correctly picking up, dipping, and attaching the volume fan with the right distance, angle, and direction for comfortable and long-lasting wear.

3. Maintenance and Aftercare

• Refill Procedure: Techniques for assessing and safely replacing grown-out extensions.

• Safe Removal: Proper use of removers to dissolve adhesive without damaging the natural lashes.

• Aftercare Instruction: Educating clients on cleaning and caring for their extensions to maximize retention.

• Troubleshooting Issues: Identifying and fixing common problems related to products, application, and aftercare, etc

4. Business and Professional Development 

• Pricing strategies and retail product knowledge.
