  • Day 2-5: "OMG! They are so dark!!!" - because the color oxidized (just like an apple turns brown after you left it out)
  • Day 4-10: "They're so itchy I want to scratch it so bad!" - but DO NOT do it because it will take the color off.
  • Day 5-14: "Ew! They are peeling!" - As bad as you want to pick them, DON'T DO IT! It will cause permanent scarring and pigment loss.
  • Day 14: "All the scabs fell off, but my brows are so light" - After the skin is healing the top color flakes off, your permanent make up will appear spot like and uneven as your skin does not shed the color evenly and all at once. The color my also appear to be gone as you go through the frosting stage. Do not worry color will reappear after your skin is completely healed, which can take up to 4 weeks!
  • Touch up is only needed if there're unevenness in color.

LIPS PROCEDURE:

  • Immediately After: Swelling, tender, heavy, thick lipstick look.
  • Day 1-2: Slight swelling, reddish, tender, slight metallic flavor.
  • Day 3-4: Less swelling, thicker texture, sore, hot feeling, very chapped lips.
  • Day 5: Very chapped but almost finished with 1st chapping stage.
  • Day 6-10: See soft, rich color.
  • Day 10-14: Lip color disappears - - - "frosty" stage begins (2d chapping stage), a whitish, grayish haze on lips.
  • Day 14: Color "blooms" from within more and more each day until day 21
  • Day 21. The healing is completed. The color you see is the color you have. However, lips remain a bit dry for a month or two. Use a good lip balm and they will return to normal but with color!

EYELASH EXTENSIONS

▼ WHAT ARE SOME TIPS BEFORE GETTING EYELASH EXTENSIONS?

  • Please arrive to your appointment with squeaky clean natural lashes (no makeup/products around eye area) because any trace of products on your lashes will cause poor retention.
  • Arrive to your appointment 5-10 mins early to allow yourself from finding parking, using the restroom, snacks...
  • Drinking coffee before your appointment is not recommended due to caffeine will cause your eyes flutter and very uncomfortable for you to lay still for the entire session.

▼ HOW LONG DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS LAST?

Lash extensions can last up to 6 weeks with proper aftercare, and require touch ups every 2-3 weeks to maintain their fullness. The longevity of your extensions will vary based upon your natural lash growth cycle and your aftercare. The average human eye sheds 5-7 natural eyelashes per day, this is 70-90 natural lashes within 2 weeks (half your natural eyelashes). If you return for a fill with less than 30% of your extensions/ 20 extensions each eye, you will be required to obtain a full set, so please plan your appointment accordingly!

▼ WHO SHOULD NO GET EYELASH EXTENSIONS?

  • An individual with any allergy to adhesives or cyanoacrylate adhesives.
  • If you suffer from an eye infection or any eye disease.
  • If your sleep on your face (stomach sleeper) you should not get eyelash extensions, you will continually end up rubbing them off in your pillow, and then be needing a full set at each fill appointment.
  • If you don't like to stay still for a long period of time.

▼ WILL EYELASH EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?

Eyelash extensions will not damage your natural lashes if they’re applied properly. This is why it’s crucial that you pick a lash artist that has extensive training. Our artists will select the right weight and length of extensions and carefully apply on each of your natural lash. Also, proper aftercare is very important. You will damage your natural lashes if you’re picking, rubbing, pulling your extensions, or not properly cleanse them.

▼ HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO APPLY EYELASH EXTENSIONS?

A full set eyelash extension application can take anywhere from 2 to 3 hours, and 1-2 hours for refill depending on each artist. This is a meticulous procedure that requires patience and concentration. Therefore, it is important not to rush the process so that you can leave with a perfect set of lashes! You will be relaxing with your eyes closed, and you will feel no pain as many of our clients are so relaxed that they often fall asleep!

▼ CAN I WEAR EYE MAKEUP OR PUT MASCARA ON MY EXTENSIONS?

Yes you can still wear eye makeup like eyeliner and eye shadows as usual, as long as it is not waterproof. Absolutely NO mascara on your extension as this will break down the adhesive, clump up the extensions and cause your extensions to come off. To remove your eye makeup, use oil-free makeup remover (we highly recommend Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water) or use our lash shampoo.

▼ DO I REALLY NEED TO WASH MY EXTENSIONS & HOW DO I WASH THEM?

Yes you do! Not washing your lashes will cause built up debris. It can cause infection, blepharitis - an inflammation of the eyelids in which they become red, irritated and itchy dandruff like scales form on the lashes. It can also cause retention issues due to your natural oils that secrete around our eyes will break down the adhesive, causing them to fall out. To wash your extensions, use a soft small makeup brush and cleanse between your extension, lash lines and your eyelids with foaming lash shampoo. Rinse out with warm water. Gently pat dry with towel and blow dry them in cool setting. Gently brush your extensions out with a spoolie so they can become fluffy again.

▼ WHY ARE MY LASHES SOMETIMES LESS FULL AFTER MY FILL THAN OTHER TIME?

This is most likely due to shedding! Since our natural lashes go through their growing cycles, there will be times where you have the exact same amount of long, strong lashes at once and other times there may be more baby (anagen stage) lashes. And unfortunately, smaller lashes cannot handle the same amount of weight as a fully grown lashes. Therefore, possibly causing your set to look less full after your fill. But, NOT TO WORRY! They should be grown out by your next fill!

WHAT IS A LASH LIFT?

The lash lift is a technique that lifts and curls your own natural lashes to make them appear longer and give you a brighter, fuller, wide eyed look. No need for extensions and the associated aftercare, this will last you 6-8 weeks.

HOW LONG DOES EYEBROW/EYELASH TINTING LAST?

Both tints typically last 3-4 weeks on the hair, and 3-7 days on the skin, but it can vary from person to person depends on how many times you wash your face and the products you use on the area.

WHAT IS HENNA?

Henna is an organic dye used to color the brows and adds fullness up to 4-6 weeks on the hair, and 1-2 weeks on the skin. The results can vary from person to person depending on how many times you wash your face and the products you use on the area.
